The Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS) is a dispute resolution body that acts in instances of disputes between consumers and bookmakers. If a consumer can not settle a dispute with an operator, for example around payment for a bet, then they can turn to IBAS for an independent resolution service. IBAS is approved by the UKGC.

The European Sports Security Association is the body that looks to combat match-fixing in sport and maintain integrity. To do this, the ESSA looks closely at betting activity for signs of suspicious patterns.
